On behalf of the Cerebral foundation, the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute conducted the study “Robotics and Disabilities – How machines will help people tomorrow”.
XoSoft partners attended the symposium on the new GDI-study earlier this month. After the welcome by Michael Harr of the Cerebral foundation, different aspects and difficulties of the complex interplay between disabled people and technology have been presented by experts from GDI, ETH, and other institutions.
The presentations were in line with the GDI-study which was the primary objective of the symposium. The study is mainly concerned with the effect of the imminent robotisation on disabled people and the questions that arise with new technology.
