XoSoft partners, the University of Limerick and Össur hf, exploit project results through their activity in a new COST Action on wearable robotics for human assistance, launched in Brussels this month.
The new COST Action "Wearable Robots for Augmentation, Assistance or Substitution of Human Motor Functions" has been launched in Brussels in March 2017. Led by Dr Jan Veneman (see photo) from the Fundacion Tecnalia Innovation & Research, the action is concerned with the emerging field of wearable robotics, since the use of robotics has long spread beyond industrial use and the interaction between human and machine becomes increasingly important.
