The EU Horizon 2020 XoSoft project has officially started on the 1st February 2016.
The project which will be running for 3 years aims to develop an innovative soft exoskeleton for the lower limbs. The intention is to provide low to moderate leg support for the elderly and people with walking impairments. To kick-off the start of project, members of the whole consortium are meeting at the headquarters of the co-ordinator IIT in Genova, Italy. The aim of the 2-day meeting is to plan the next steps of the XoSoft project with the help of presentations, workshops and guided discussions.
