BioRob 2016 in Singapore

The inexhaustible interest in robotics and exoskeletons around the world leads us to the 6th International Conference on Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics in Singapore – the BioRob 2016.
The conference sounds very promising, since it connects different areas and research approaches: “BioRob covers both theoretical and experimental challenges posed by the application of robotics and mechatronics in medicine and biology. The primary focus of Biorobotics is to analyze biological systems from a "biomechatronic" point of view, trying to understand the scientific and engineering principles underlying their extraordinary performance.”

The conference is further appealing when having a look at its speakers; among the many recognised keynote speakers, such as IEEE Fellow Rüdiger Dillmann or Allison Okamura from Stanford University, neuroscientist John P. Donoghue, founder of the Institute of Brain Science at Brown University will attend BioRob 2016 as its plenary speaker.

Moreover, there will be four amazing workshops taking place throughout the conference including one workshop on Soft Wearable Robotics conducted by Conor Walsh and Raye Yeow, which can be expected to be particularly interesting for XoSoft.

BioRob2016 is still open for registration – so why not starting your summer visiting Singapore’s futuristic sights while taking a look into the future of Biorobotics.
