From the 9th-10th May the University of Limerick was the meeting point for highly motivated and good-humoured XoSoft team members from all over Europe. They invested their time during those two days to move research and design elements forward in the development of the XoSoft alpha prototype.
The workshop held at the Design Factors Studio in the University of Limerick, Ireland brought together the expertise available in XoSoft to discuss and make decisions regarding the design of the XoSoft alpha prototype. The two-day workshop focused on the development of user centered concept directions for the first iteration of the XoSoft concept. Paper prototyping, Drawing, Building ,Hacking and Small group concept design and development were all used to good effect. These included a focus on the primary and secondary user needs resulting from the participatory design research completed in work package one. The partners now have a solid common understanding of the user needs and a firm foundation for the Alpha prototype of XoSoft
