IIT-CMBR at the International Festival of Robotics in Pisa

Our partner IIT-CMBR presented the XoSoft project during the International Festival of Robotics in Pisa which ran from the 7th to the 12th September, 2017.
The International Robotics Festival is an event that has something for everyone; it aims to develop knowledge in the field of robotics. Robots were the main protagonists of the Festival and featured in the fields of surgery, rehabilitation, care for the elderly and disabled, bionic prostheses, physical and emotional interaction with people, education, collaborative industrial robotics, precision agriculture, marine robotics, drones, circular economy, roboethics and art.

The event attracted around 5,000 attendees interested in robotics over the course of the six days and IIT-CMBR who has long experience in the development of smart materials, one of the key points for the XoSoft exoskeleton were on site to introduce the XoSoft project including a live demo with a sensor-controlled kneepad.
